Great idea. While she no longer drops toys into the holes, she absolutely loves to get her treats out of them. She's become lightning fast. Really, she can whip them out in seconds. I keep the box in a corner of my front closet where it's safe, then pull it out every day for "treat and fun time.
As an owner of 6 Cats, i must say this toy is a hit with all of them I placed a few treats inside and it kept them busy and entertained for hours. We love this toy! He has a treat tower by CatIt, and that keeps him entertained, but he's mastered that toy already. This puzzle box is great because it has so many holes with different shapes and angles, which makes the toy much more difficult to master.
I know my little boy really has to think about it, too, because after he plays with it for awhile, he'll sit down facing away from it as if he's mad at it, and within minutes he'll roll over and attack it again. It keeps him thinking! My only wish is that this box was more bottom heavy. He easily pushes it around the floor, but that's fun, too.
He can also knock the box upside down, and that spills the treats, but he hasn't made the connection yet. By irmington on January 4, Well my cat Homer usually likes the box the toy came in more than the actual toy, but not this time. He really seems to enjoy it and it keeps him entertained and stimulated. This might be his all time favorite plaything. We've had this toy for at least a year and he plays with it several times each, still looks new. Can't wait for the newer version, Catamazing Epic,which I hear will come out next January.
